A Note from the Directors

Since 1985, our services have changed to keep us relevant to the needs of those we serve, but our commitment to serving them with the highest level of integrity has been unwavering. Our centers, located in the heart of New Hampshire's two largest cities, provide a safe place where those facing unexpected pregnancy can receive accurate information and compassionate, non-judgmental care as they make one of the most difficult decisions of their lives. Our practical services coupled with our genuine offer to walk alongside them, empower moms and dads to choose life for their unborn children and experience abundant life for themselves and their families.

Life is a Gift!

For those of you unfamiliar with the work of a pregnancy center, we are a Faith-based, non-profit ministry. Pregnancy center ministry is rooted in the compassion and love of Jesus Christ.

Pregnancy center ministry addresses the needs of individual women. It is about sharing the Gospel and empowering people to make positive, life-affirming choices. When hurting women encounter Jesus Christ in the midst of their crises, their lives are changed forever.

Programs & Services

Meeting Physical Needs

Real Options is able to meet the physical needs of birth parents each year through our parenting program, Earn While You Learn. They have an opportunity to gain much needed parenting education and they receive Mommy/Daddy Bucks to shop in our well stocked "stores" for diapers, baby clothing, car seats, and other baby needs.

Meeting Spiritual Needs

Often, Real Options volunteers have the privilege of sharing spiritual truths with their clients. We have many opportunities to share the practical love of God with men and women in difficult circumstances.

Post Abortion Healing

Mending Hearts is a ten-week recovery study based on Biblical principles.  In a compassionate and confidential setting, we help individuals explore spiritual and emotional issues that often accompany an abortion experience.  Mending Hearts is offered one-on-one or in a group setting with trained facilitators.

Be a Prayer Partner

Participate in a Fundraising Event:

Our most urgent and ongoing need is for prayer support.

  • Please pray for protection for our centers, staff and volunteers.

  • Pray that those in our communities who are facing an unplanned pregnancy would find their way to us.

  • Pray for our Board of Directors as they seek to lead this ministry under God's direction.

  • Pray that our staff and volunteers would be bold as they share the love of Christ in word and deed.

  • For more specific needs, feel free to contact either center director.

Baby Bottle Benefit ~ The Baby Bottle Benefit is a really simple way to raise funds to help us provide our vital services to clients facing unplanned pregnancies.  Fill a bottle with your loose change and turn it in along with others from your church or organization to create a great harvest of change.

Walk for Life ~ Each spring, we hold a Walk for Life event. This family event includes live music, games, & refreshments.

Annual Fundraising Banquet ~ Our annual Fundraising Banquet happens each October and is a great time to get together and hear what God has accomplished at Real Options throughout the year. You can host a table and bring friends to fill it or become a banquet underwriter, helping to assure that all of the funds raised at the banquet go directly to serving our clients.

Become a Church Liaison

You can be the "Life-line" between Real Options and your church helping us all become more effective workers for the Sanctity of Human Life.

Maybe you cannot commit to volunteering at one of our centers but have a heart for our mission to Life.  Would you like to help carry information about events, training, programs, victories, and needs for your church?  Contact Lindsay Hyvonen for more information at 603.883.1122 or

Host a Baby Shower

A baby shower can be a single event or a gathering of items over a specific period of time. Individuals either contribute funds, or car seats, wipes, clothing, diapers, bottles, etc... anything you would see at a normal baby shower! Often there is a specific focus - such as car seats or pack-n-plays that people contribute toward, but the sky is the limit.

*Per State of NH Safety laws, we are no longer able to accept used larger baby equipment or car seats, but we are always happy to receive new baby equipment and car seats.

We are always in need of diapers and wipes. We accept up to size 6 diapers - wipes should be fragrance-free please.
