| In 1983, President Reagan issued a proclamation creating a special day to focus on the sanctity of human life and the fundamental right to life. National Sanctity of Human Life Sunday will be held on January 22, 2012, the Sunday that falls closest to the Roe V. Wade and Doe v. Bolton decisions handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court in 1973.
Many churches will be participating on January 22nd, using bulletin inserts that illustrate the work of our local Care Net Pregnancy Centers, showing a DVD that features a woman who visited a Care Net Center, and/or handing out baby bottles that can be filled with spare change (Baby Bottle Benefit) and returned to Care Net.
